While travel packages are great for budget travelers, those who are willing to go off the beaten track can really explore some incredible sights and sounds that many tourists will never see.

- Safari

- Wildebeest Migration

Every year more than a million wildebeest migrate 1,800 miles across the African savannah. Its been described as the "7th wonder of the natural world" and is truly a sight to behold.

- Pink Flamingo's

One of the most famous sights in Kenya is the flamingo's at Lake Nakuru. Watching thousands of these birds take off into the sunset is something you will never forget. The lakes are also teeming with birds and is a hotspot for bird watching.

- Mount Kilimanjaro

Believe it or not, but Kenya has quite a few (inactive) volcanoes that has left behind one of the most amazing natural landscapes in all of Africa. Kilimanjaro is one of the highest mountain ranges in all of Africa and if you are fit enough - be sure to go as high as you can. The views from the top is unbelievable.

- Mombassa

Kenya's second largest city and home to Fort Jesus - the oldest colonial building in Kenya. You can also reach some of the finest beaches and beach resorts in all of Africa from Mombassa.
